should be "aap hi ho quwwate parvardigaar..." quwwate meaning mighty/powerful...
some parts of the song are derived from Nusrat's Maula Ali song. He was one of the greatest followers of sufism and is very evident in his songs.
The song greatly compliments the theme of the movie with a touch of sufi aspects.

Although I dont understand all of what is said, its enough to make me understand that Urdu is such a beautiful language... The pain and the truth with which the singer makes an appeal to God makes me believe that the language is so expressive... Its sad, though that some selfish and foolish people spread terror and hatred in the name of Jihaad...

uh to the dude who said this song is hurting Muslim sentiments...I think they are infact referring to Allah in this song afterall, Ali is one of the 99 names of Allah and also the most common name used to refer to the Allmighty. beautiful song! urdu is indeed a lovely language.

ali without doubt is one of the 99 names of Allah, it is also the name of prophets (p.b.u.h)cousin / son in law, ali ibn abu talib. Ali is central to shiite way of thinking. though both sunni's and shiites accept his greatness as a warrior, a caliph and as a rightful person but controversies that rose after prophets (p.b.u.h) death about the succession of caliphet broke islam into two sects. find out the rest if intersted.. nice song dont dissect religion based on it.
i know some words like "saif" it means sword and the word "zilfiqar" it's a name for the sword that our prophet Mohammad (may peace be upon him)gave it to "Ali" .
that what the song say's , but in the real fact our prophet (may peace be upon him) gave it to Abu Dujanah -R.A- in the day of Auhud , that what the Sunni believes in , by the the way , I'm a Sunni.
